The MPV040-4 features a stainless steel body for corrosion resistance, and a polymer seal for durability and leak prevention. It also has a built-in check valve to prevent backflow, and a vacuum breaker to prevent siphoning. The Plus Two Multi-Purpose Valve offers performance– low pressure drops that are equal to or better than any valve on the market today–and convenience: You can replace the stem seal packing under full system pressure. The Plus Two Multi-Purpose Valve is made of ductile iron with stainless steel and bronze fitted construction to provide years of trouble-free service. It is available in sizes ranging from 1 ½” through 14″, with flanged connections (1 ½”, 2″ and 2 ½” units are threaded connections).

Taco The new Taco "Plus Two" Multi-Purpose Valve combines all the valvefunctions that are normally required on the discharge side of acentrifugal pump in a hydronic heating or cooling system into one body.It is a Shut-Off Valve, a Non-Slam Check Valve, a Balancing Valve, anda Flow Metering Valve, and now it is field convertible from a straightpattern to a 90 degree right angle pattern. In addition the new "PlusTwo" Multi-Purpose Valves have low pressure drops, equal to or betterthan any valve on the market today, and the stem seal packing can bereplaced under full system pressure.
