3" NC 0/5# Proof of Close Junction Box by ASCO (JB8043A97CSA) This 3" junction box from ASCO is designed for use in hazardous locations where proof of close is required. It is constructed of cast aluminum for durability and corrosion resistance, and features a cover that is secured with four screws. The box has a single 3/4" NPT threaded hub on the bottom and two 3/4" NPT threaded hubs on the sides for conduit connections. It also has a 1/2" NPT threaded hub on the top for mounting a signal light or other device. The box is rated for use in Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D, and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G hazardous locations.
