XBN-1019MW35-3E Expansion Valve by Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) is designed for use in air conditioning and refrigeration systems that use R-410A refrigerant. It is a thermostatic expansion valve that uses a sensing bulb to measure the temperature of the refrigerant in the evaporator. If the refrigerant temperature is too low, the valve will close to reduce the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator. If the refrigerant temperature is too high, the valve will open to increase the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator. This valve has a 5-ton capacity and is suitable for use in systems with an evaporator temperature of 40°F to 70°F. It has a 1/2" sweat connection and a 1/4" flare connection.
