A valve is an essential component of any piping system that conveys liquids, gases, vapors, slurries, and mixtures of liquid and gaseous phases.

Control valves regulate fluid flow, such as oil, gas, and water. This is done by changing the size of the flow passage based on signals from an electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuator. Doing so enables control of process quantities such as temperature and pressure.

Electric or pneumatic signals control the opening and closing of actuators. Traditionally based on 3-15 psi (0.2-1.0 bar), these control signals are more common now: 4-20mA signals for industry, 0-10V for HVAC systems, and the introduction of "Smart" systems.

How to Choose the Right Control Valve

There are several factors to consider when selecting a valve, such as a pipe size, the overall pressure of the system, the flowing media, and the process conditions.

For instance, a waste treatment system uses a butterfly valve to move liquids, while HVAC systems use a ball, CCV ball, globe, and pressure-independent valves to control airflow.

At Midwest Supply, we sell Belmino Control Valves and Everflow Control Valves, including, but not limited to:

  • Ball Valves
  • Butterfly Valves
  • CCV Ball Valves
  • Pressure Independent Valves
  • Globe Valves
  • VBall Valves
  • Zone Valves

High-Quality Increases Safety and Reduces Costs

Our control valves offer high performance and easy maintenance. Durability and being able to withstand diverse conditions are among the other benefits you can expect from Belmino and Everflow valves.

Not only do control valves save you money by eliminating unnecessary costs, but they also help minimize process and product variability. Moreover, they offer additional safety to every single process and related unit.

Whether you're working on a simple domestic or complex industrial process, our control valves are ideal and flexible for multiple applications.
