The 63-B-M from Xylem-McDonnell & Miller is a Low Water Cutoff (LWCO) with a float block, designed for use in boilers and hot water heating systems. The LWCO is a safety device that automatically shuts off the fuel supply to the boiler if the water level drops below a safe level. The float block moves up and down with the water level and when the water level drops below the safe level, the float block drops and activates a switch that shuts off the fuel supply. The LWCO is a critical safety device that helps to prevent boiler explosions and damage to the boiler and heating system.
